Google Rolling Out Non-Skippable YouTube Videos Ads to all Channels,

14:02 1
YouTube lovers, YouTube is rolling out anot
her update September 2018 which happens to be nextweek, and the major feature about t
he new update is the non-skippable advert option.

The non-skippable feature which would be made available to all channels next week will help channel owners on YouTube maximize profits on their videos.

What all this means is that whenever you want to watch a YouTube video you might not be able to skip ads like you do before, so you have no other choice than to watch the content of the ad.

This new feature was made available to some beta testers(Few people testing the app for experimental purpose), Now the non-skippable ads feature made it pass the beta stage. Now, the company says it’s releasing it to everyone in the YouTube Partner Program, so creators can get the chance to earn more money.

According to Google, the max video length for non-skippable ads is 15 to 20 seconds.

This is still longer than the typical 5-second “mandatory watch” period of skippable adverts, however, which many users are accustomed to seeing.

This means that YouTube Channel owners will make more money via this compulsory, ‘must watch’, advert from google.

This new feature is not going down well with me because some ads are so annoying and if you are managing data this new feature is not just for you. What do you think?

MTN Reduces Their Night Plan Data Bundle Volume, N25 for 125MB

06:53 0
Just After MTN reviewed the price if their Sme data plans, they dropped another bombshell by reducing the night data plan data bundle volume.

This might just sound funny but i knew MTN was up to something when they dashed out free 1GB data to subscribers for doing nothing.

MTN sent their subscribers the official message below.

Y'ello! when you buy the Pulse Night plan at N25 from 16/08/2018, you now get 125MB. You also get 250MB for N50 and can make multiple purchases. Dial *406# to buy.

According to the message the usual N25 for 500MB has been reduced to 125MB while they have a new plan now in which N50 would go for 250MB.

In the text they claimed multiple purchases can be made which means N100 is the new price for the 500MB plan.

Mtn had been reviewing all the way subscribers get cheap data which is kind of annoying and i hope they would not lose more subscribers like they did last month.

How To Subscribe For Night Plan On MTN, Airtel, Etisalat, Glo Networks.

06:48 2
Hey Guys,  It's been a long time out of  the Blogosphere and i must admit i miss everything about Blogging and most importantly all of my Readers!. I announced in the Whatsapp Group that i would be back May 1st and this post is a confirmation to my promise!, Lets get to business...

So as lazy youths all we do is to surf the internet and download both the necessary and the unnecessary files, So my Question is Do you want to download heavy files? and you do not have enough data, Then the best solution is Night plan.

Night Plans have proven to be a life saver over the since it was first introduced cheaply by MTN, though they are some glitches in the T&Cs of the Night plans offered by all the Telecommunication companies but i would be frank as ever with you guys, Night Plan is close to being a Scam as usual... we are in Nigeria, 'If you cant beat them, just join'.

Below i listed the various Night Plans offered by various Telecommunications companies i.e MTN, Airtel, 9Mobile(formerly Etisalat) and Glo.. The night plans varies from Cheap to expensive depending on your budget.

I must admit it is arguably the best you can get in one night, Airtel has one of the cheapest Night plan which goes for as low as N25.
1. You must be on Airtel Smart Trybe
Dial *312# then select 1 to migrate

2. After successful migration, Dial *312# then select either of the two options depending on how much data you want

N25 for 500mb
N200 for 1.5gb

3. You would receive a confirmation sms.

Validity: 12 A.M - 5 A.M
To check data balance dial *140#

✅Download Our Android App HERE

✅Join Our WhatsApp Group Chat Here For Faster Updates

The most expensive as expected, but as we all know Etisalat Speed is Bae.
The Night plan comes in three different packages.

A. Classic Night Plan
To subscribe;
Dial *229*3*11#
Cost: N200 for 1GB
Validity:  12am to 5am

B. 9MOBILE 2GB For N1000 Plan
To subscribe, dial *229*3*12# for 2GB evening & weekend plan @ N1000 (7pm – 6:59am All Night) and the whole of weekend

C. 9MOBILE 5GB For N2000 Plan
To subscribe, dial *229*3*13# for 5GB evening & weekend plan @ N2000 (7pm – 6:59am All Night) and the whole of weekend PLUS 100MB WhatsApp (24/7)

Everything about their plan is normal, and it is not cheap like the Airtel Night plan but you can renew it.

How To Subscribe:

2. Text NIGHT to 131
Below is the various packages they have

a. N25 for 125MB
b. N50 for 250MB

Multiple purchases allowed!

Validity: 12am - 4am

Their package is very different from other networks, As its a little expensive but they offer the highest Gigabyte per night and they save you stress of subscribing every night.

The Glo night plan comes in two packages

Plan NamePrice (N)Data VolumeValiditySMS to 127USSD Code
TGIF – N500_WEEKEND_PLAN5003GB7 days (Weekend – Saturday 12 am – Sunday 11.59pm)61*127*61#
N200_NIGHT_PLAN2001GB1 day (12am – 5am)60*127*60#
More of weekend plan, but it is usable during the week as Night plan and weekend For 24 hours,
To me its a win-win situation.

Just dial *127*61# or Text 61 to 127

It cost N500 - 3GB.

This package is somehow expensive as you can get N200 for just 1gb, And its not renewable

Dial *127*60# or Text 60 to 127

Cost N200 - 1gb

The beauty of Night plan is that it works on any devices including Java phones, Symbian, Android, iPhone, iPad, PC . And remember you have the best download speed in the NIGHT.

MTN Increases Prices Of SME data Plans

06:15 0
Hey Guys, Mtn yesterday reviewed some of their data plans which would in turn affect some certain set of subscribers drastically.

MTN dropped the bomb shell of increasing the price of their SME data share from August 21, 2018 which has gather bad feelings already.

Below is the message MTN sent to all SME data dealers
"Dear Customer, from August 21, 2018, the following prices will apply to MTN SME Data Share: 10GB at N7,500; 20GB at N14,000; 50GB at N30,000. Thank you."
According to the message the 10GB and 20GB plans would only be affected and price increased by 1000Naira while the 50GB plan remains unaffected. Below is the breakdown of the plans
✅ 10GB
Old Price = N6,500
New Price = N7,500

✅ 20GB
Old Price = N13,000
New Price = N14,000

✅ 50GB is unaffected and remains at old price N30,000.

Although the new prices would not take effect until 21st August 2018, which is a little bit harsh on the SME data dealers and the Consumers, The data dealers would definitely increase the prices of their data which might create a little problem for the subscribers.

SME data is a source of cheap data and instead of going for the official data plans most subscribers would opt for SME data and m SME data dealers might lose subscribers/ customers as there might be a thin line between the SME data and the Official data plans.

Facebook Agrees Deal To Broadcast La Liga Games For Free

18:01 0
La Liga fans rejoice as the leading social media website, Facebook just announced a new deal that enables Facebook broadcast all La Liga matches live to its users on their App.

All 380 matches of the new 2018-2019 La Liga season, which is scheduled to begin this Friday, will be available to watch on the social media network, Facebook.

However, the only constraint is that it is only limited to the Indian subcontinent. Countries like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are going to be able to stream all the matches live, La Liga President said in a statement.

“ We are delighted to team up with Facebook and be able to bring the action closer to all followers of La Liga in the Indian subcontinent,” said La Liga President Javier Tebas.
“La Liga is a reference in world football and it is a great satisfaction for us that now, the number of people who can watch matches live in this geographic area will be greater than ever and they will be able to do so for free through Facebook.” The president said.

This deal will last for the next three seasons and will include pre- and post-match analysis programmes.

Even though the financial details of the agreement were not disclosed to the public, Spanish sports daily Marca reported that the deal was worth around 90 million euros ($105.5 million).

The Facebook deal is the latest sign of interest on the part of tech firms in sports broadcasting which might eventually pose issues to the Television network just as Netflix did in the movie industry.

India has a billion-plus mobile phone users — more than any other country on earth — and close to half a billion people with internet access, most via their smartphones, that make streaming video from sites like Facebook possible.

This is a wonderful move from both La Liga and Facebook as it would lead to internet users use Facebook more, and i guess that with the help of a VPN it might just be available to watch in this part of the world.

How To Get 125% Double Data Bonus On Glo Oga Sim

21:36 4
Glo Oga SIM Double Data Bonus is a new offer for Glo subscribers, But the little constraint present  is that the Glo Oga Sim offer is for Glo subscribers on 4G LTE network.

Glo Oga Sim would give subscribers up to 125% bonus on data subscription just like what we use to enjoy before on the network before it was scrapped.

The Glo Oga Sim is a great offer for the 4G lte subscribers while the 3G subscribers would just have to wait for a better offer from the Telecom company.

In short, if you subscribe for 7.2GB @ N2500, you get extra 7.2GB oga sim data bonus making it 14.4GB, which is actually a great deal

If you subscribe for the normal N1000 monthly data plan, you now get 3.5GB instead of getting 1.6GB and 2GB data volume(upon renewal). Glo Oga SIM offer works on all other data plans from the network.

1. You need a Glo 4G SIM. In case you don't have it yet, you can simply visit the closest Globacom office to upgrade your 3G SIM to 4G

2. Once you have a 4G SIM, Subscribe to a plan and auto renew the plan before it expires to activate the Glo Oga SIM Bonus.
For me personally, its a great offer and it's totally worth it, but i would have love for it to have been a general offer and not limited to 4G LTE subscribers
