LG New Device That Kills Mosquitoes

11:40 2
While other phone makers are thriving to create latest and powerful hardware and modern design to be different from others , LG took a another step entirely to make a phone that repels mosquitoes.

Yes, you heard it right. LG recently launched K7i smartphone in India that has a mosquito repeller using ultrasonic sound waves.
Although India is not among the top countries that are prone to mosquitoes, but it’s still not void of mosquito-borne diseases. We need a device like this in Nigeria, a country where mosquitoes are one of the major problems we are facing.

Keeping that in mind, LG made  the  ultrasonic mosquito repeller at the back of the phone, which works on the almost the same  mechanism as the conventional insect repellent devices that we once used at our homes.

The ‘Mosquito Away’ technology, as LG calls it, is built-in. So that when the LG K7i is around, its inaudible sound waves will keep the users safe from mosquito bites without causing any harm.
The repeller device comes with a slight hump on the lower back of the phone, that’s why the company has made it replaceable. So that you can swap back panels to get rid of that extra muscle when you don’t need it. Also, LG gives a Mosquito Away stand with the phone.

See the specs for the LG K7i below:

Display:            5.00-inch
Processor:       1.1GHz quad-core
Front Camera:  5-megapixel
Resolution:       480x854 pixels
RAM:                 2GB
OS:     Android 6.0 marshmallow
Storage:           16GB
Rear Camera:  8-megapixel
Battery Capacity:  2500mAh

If this comes to Nigeria, will you pay 43,400 Naira for it?

Three Tips To Make Your Iphone Charge Faster

09:30 1
Is your iPhone charging slowly? Does it take forever before it gets fully charged? Worry no more as these tips can boost your device battery charging time once applied.

One of the basic advantage of Android over iPhone is that most of the android phones manufactured recently comes with a built in fast charging technology which helps the phone charge very fast than normal. The iPhone 8 and iPhone X which was recently released would come with a fast charger which would act as a fast charging technology and the the company reportedly said it would charge fast with a third party adapter. Let me just cut to the chase below are the 3 simple tips to make your iPhone charge faster.

TIPS TO MAKE IPHONE CHARGE FASTER

1. Make Use an iPad charger
The iPad charger is built differently from the iPhone charger. It supplies 12W and 2.1A of power compared to the iPhone charger, which carries just 5W and 1A of power. Also, the iPad charger is compatible with all Apple mobile devices.

2. Charge your iPhone in Low Power Mode
This mode reduces the performance of the device and prolongs the battery life. When charging with the Low Power mode on, the charging speed increases.

3. Turn on Airplane Mode
This turns off all forms of wireless connections on your device. Charging your iPhone with Airplane Mode turned on means that you will not get any notifications whatsoever. However, that’s but a small price to pay to charge your iPhone faster, isn’t it?

Once you apply any or all of the above tips, you will notice a dramatic improvement in charging your iPhone.

Whatsapp Banned In China

13:39 3

Recall back then in july when the Chinese government blocked users of WhatsApp from sending photos and videos over the app.

Well now, Users in China have reported widespread disruptions in recent days to the Facebook-owned service, which had previously malfunctioned in the country over the summer.
Experts said the problems began on Sunday, although text messages, voice calls and video calls appeared to be working again on Tuesday, though voice messages and photos were not going through.

WhatsApp provides message encryption technology that likely does not please Chinese authorities, which closely monitor and restrict cyberspace through their "Great Firewall".
Many Chinese activists favour WhatsApp over local messaging apps because of its end-to-end encryption function.

Although Mark met with chinese officials in beijing , it seems the meetings had to effect so to say,
The WhatsApp troubles emerged ahead of the Communist Party congress on October 18, when President Xi Jinping is expected to be given a second five-year term as the party's general secretary.
"It smells like Party congress pre-emptive blocking," said Jason Ng, who researches China's internet at the Citizen Lab at the University of Toronto. China usually steps up surveillance around major events, Ng said.

While the WeChat messaging app owned by China's Tencent company is more widely used in the country, many WhatsApp users complained about the disruptions.

"As we get closer to the Party congress, I think authorities will use more extreme censorship measures. The public knows that WeChat isn't safe," prominent Beijing-based activist Hu Jia told AFP.

See Reasons Your Infinix Phone Is Not Charging Or Charging Slow

16:26 6
Infinix is a widely used smartphone in Nigeria, and it has been been considered a smartphone brand that is here to stay in Nigeria. Infinix has the same problem since the release of their first smartphone in Nigeria which is charging problem.
Infinix Phone

After couple of months Infinix smartphones start charging very slow which is very annoying. I have actually witnessed an Infinix phone charge for 2 hours just to pick up 15% of battery life.

Infinix manufactures introduced the X Charge feature but this feature still did not solve the problem as it was just useless because the problem keeps coming back.

So i outlined different possible reasons and solutions your Infinix phone is charging very slow or not even charging at all below.

1. Bad Charger: This is the common problem with most phones, Infinix phones come with a fast charger that can fully charge your phone in just 1 hour because it comes with a fast charging technology but from what i heard infinix follow come USB cords are always the first to spoil posing issues to the user, If you have a faulty charger kindly get a new original infinix charger. An original Infinix charger comes in white colour and cord, while some come in blue pack. Make sure you test them for about 10mins before buying because they are scarce.

READ ALSO: Top 6 Android Phones That Support Wireless Charging (See Full List)

2. Charging Flex: Charging flex is an inbuilt connection between your charger and the phone,
if the charging flex is bad, then some of this symptoms would happen:

  1. Your phone may not charge or charge slow.
  2. Your phone can't connect to the system again
  3. It will no longer flash charge.

If you notice all this symptoms it simply means your charging flex needs to be replaced, Do not even think of managing with the faulty one as it is better you change the flex completely, It will cost you just N1500 Naira.

3. Software: This might come as a surprise to you, but YES Software can make your phone charge slow, just do the needful and upgrade your device to the latest Operating system (OS) to fix the glitch. Be sure to backup your files before upgrading your phone to avoid losing of files.

4. Faulty Battery: This an obvious reason, Most android phone brands in Nigeria face this problem also. A faulty battery might cause your phone to charge slowly or not even charge at all. The most common visible symptom is your battery increasing in size, If you notice this kindly replace your battery because it wont charge well at all. I have seen a dead Infinix phone charge fully in just 2 mins.

5. Panel Problem: This problem is the worst as it can even result to the end of the phone. It mostly occur when you connect different naked wires together to charge your phone or run your phone with a fake batter causing it to spoil the panel due to over heating while charging. If you are a victim just visit the nearest phone repair service shop near you and get expert advice there.

These problems and solution are confirmed be me because i have faced all with an infinix smartphone, and i noticed all of the charging problem by infinix phones are caused by the ones stated above so just find the solution that suits your problem above.

NCC Express Disappointment Over Poor Quality Of Data Services

11:27 5
The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta is miffed that subscribers are fleeced by the operators in terms of the quality of data services on offer, demanding that more value should be given for money spent on data. He also expressed the commission’s disgust at the snail speed of internet services and also urged both the operators and the internet service providers to invest more on infrastructure to ensure improvement in what is currently available.

Danbatta who spoke in an interview with one of the nation’s television networks, promised that government would look for a way of assisting network providers to ensure adequate infrastructure that would aid robust internet and improve data services. He said, “Data is becoming a major issue and infrastructure for data is a major headache in Nigeria. To ensure that we enjoy what we pay for, there is need for more infrastructure deployment.

“The statistics we have supports the claim that voice subscription has dropped to 148m (10%). But the data subscription is going up. One will expect the telecom companies to make more money from mobile voice services and SMS. But consumers are very clever, migrating from high tariff and poor voice services and SMS to data services.

“Unfortunately, the data services enable subscribers enjoy voice services like Whatsapp and so on. We are in a situation where we need value for money. There is an argument that with the infrastructure, the telcos will invest more here but what is happening in the social media space indicate that we need more infrastructure to optimize data services. We are concerned that until something is done by providing more infrastructure capacity, the data services will encounter more problems.” On quality of internet service, he said the current poor quality of internet services was unacceptable and lamented the challenges the telcos are contending with. “I am not satisfied with the speed of internet experienced today.

The speed in the national broadband says 1.5 mega Hz per second. In places like Lagos, you may get higher speed, Kano you hardly get 500 kbits, which is too small. The disadvantage of having very slow speed of internet is that you can’t do so many things.  Like I said, although we are contending with a lot of network challenges, the network operators should give value for money,” he added.

it has Unlimited bandwidth to use and there is many countries proxy servers to choose from and the Vpn Protect privacy, and there is a security agent in the app.

The office VPN has been in use for a while now, which works perfectly with Whatsapp and it is very slow with other apps and browsers but i found a way to make it download using the uc mini without any special settings..

With the Office VPN and Uc Mini you would be able to download any type of file and you would not need any proxy server of any kind which is an upgrade to the glo 0.00kb free browsing cheat that was recently blocked.

Now lets get to business.

Like i said earlier there is no special settings needed for this cheat, so just follow this simple steps below.

  • Launch the UC MINI you downloaded
  • Do not forget to add it to the list of apps that Office VPN would power
  • Then Go-to any site and start downloading all types of files you wish to download.

NOTE:
After some time, it would disconnect, this is a way to monetize from the developers, to fix this just click on " get more time" an advert will pop up, just ignore and you'll get more time.

Tecno AX8 Smartphone With 6GB RAM Set To Be Relased

20:25 4
Tecno is considered a top smartphone manufacturer in Nigeria and they are currently working on a new smartphone called TECNO AX8 which would come with a 6GB ram and Mediatek Helio P25 (MT6757CD) Soc processor.

Tecno AX8 is yet to pass through FCC certification as it was spotted on Geekbench database. The full specification is yet to be made public but according to Geekbench it would come with a 6GB ram, Mediatek Helio P25 (MT6757CD) Soc as stated earlier but the disappointing spec was the Android version as it would come with Android 7.0 Nougat which is already outdated and a latter Android version 8.0 Oreo has been released.

Who knows the Tecno AX8 might later receive Android 8 Oreo update, because that is currently the only constraint in the Tecno AX8.

Tecno has been impressing lately and i sincerely hope the Tecno AX8 would not disappoint, but the price is what am scared of because the price of Tecno smartphones with 4GB ram is around 90,000naira - 110,000naira so if the Tecno AX8 would come with a 6GB RAM how much do you think it would cost?
